The 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) and the 2024-25 Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid are now available!
Don’t miss out on financial aid for college! ISAC offers free assistance in completing your FAFSA, or if you are a qualifying undocumented student, the Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid. Attend a free Financial Aid Application Completion Workshop in your high school or check out the event calendar below to attend one of ISAC’s free public events in your area. If you are a dependent student, bring your parents because they will need to complete the FAFSA as well.
*Reminder: If you and your parents are planning to complete the FAFSA, you will each need an FSA ID. Get your FSA ID before you attend a FAFSA Completion Workshop: visit https://www.studentaid.gov/fsa-id.
(Please note that the U.S. Department of Education has shared that during the FAFSA “soft launch” period, users may experience a waiting room and pauses in availability of the application as the Department does site maintenance and makes needed updates.)
