IVG Grant Application

Illinois Veteran Grant (IVG) Program Application

Welcome to the online Illinois Veteran Grant (IVG) Program application.

Please read this important information about the program and how to make sure your application is completed correctly before it is submitted.  If you have a Student Portal profile, some of the application information will be prepopulated for you.  If you need to create a profile, access the Student Portal and click on Login.

ATTENTION: Please Read If You Previously Submitted an IVG Application

Only one IVG application may be submitted, unless instructed otherwise by ISAC staff.

If you have already submitted the IVG application and now need to print a duplicate copy of your Notice of Eligibility letter, respond to a Notice of Incomplete Application, or make changes to information you originally provided on the application, please follow the below instructions.

Printing Duplicate Notice of Eligibility

You may print a duplicate copy of your Notice of Eligibility by visiting the  ISAC Programs area of this Student Portal, logging in via the "IVG - Check Your Status" button, and following the on-screen prompts. Or, you may also contact ISAC Call Center Representative to ask that a duplicate copy be sent to you.

Responding to Notice of Incomplete Application

The Notice of Incomplete Application letter lists the specific documentation that must be submitted in order for your application to be considered. Before your application can be processed, all required documentation (including a copy of the letter) must be received at  ISAC's Deerfield office  within 60 days after the date on the Notice of Incomplete Application.

In order to avoid additional delays, we recommend that you do not submit a new application.

Making Changes after Application Submitted

If you need to change your response(s) to any item(s) and/or update any information after your application has been submitted, you will need to provide the information to ISAC as outlined in the  Making Changes After Application Submitted  section of the IVG Program page at isac.org.
